Privacy Policy

This describes what this website actually does, rather than what a template says it might do. Last updated 13 September 2026.

Who we are

JI Global Consultancy Ltd, registered in Nigeria, RC 7826798. We are the data controller for anything you send through this site. Reach us at info@jiglobal.co or on WhatsApp at +44 7490 694776.

What we collect

Only what you type into one of our two forms. There is no account, no login and no profile.

The agency enquiry form asks for your name, email, company, budget range, the service you need and a description of your situation. The academy form asks for your name, email, who the enquiry is for, the skill or programme, your level and what you want to be able to do afterwards. Company and budget range are optional. Everything else is required, because without it we cannot give you a useful answer.

Each form has a hidden field that is invisible to you and only ever filled in by automated scripts. If it comes back filled, the submission is discarded as spam.

What we do with it

We read it, and we reply. That is the whole purpose. We use it to answer your enquiry, quote for work, or place you on a programme. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or add you to a mailing list.

Cookies and tracking

Our day to day analytics is Umami, which is cookieless. It records that a page was viewed, not who viewed it, and nothing is written to your browser.

We also run Google Analytics 4, which does set cookies. It is the only thing on this site that does.

Nothing loads until you choose. When you first arrive, Google Analytics is blocked and no request is made to Google at all. If you accept, the script loads and analytics cookies are set. If you reject, nothing loads and nothing is stored, and we will not ask again on that device.

We do not run advertising cookies, remarketing tags, profiling or any form of cross-site tracking. Advertising storage and personalisation are switched off permanently in our configuration, not just until you opt out. Your IP address is anonymised before it reaches Google.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page.

The choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage so we do not show you the banner on every visit. That is strictly necessary for the banner to work and does not track you.

Third parties involved

Five, and no more than five.

Netlify hosts the site and receives form submissions. Standard server logs, including your IP address, are held by Netlify as part of delivering the site. Their privacy terms apply to that processing.

Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Loading them makes a request to Google's servers, which means your IP address is visible to Google at that moment. No cookie is set by this. We are moving these fonts onto our own server to remove that connection entirely.

Google Analytics receives page and event data, but only if you accept analytics cookies. Google processes this on servers outside Nigeria, including in the United States. Google acts as our processor, and we do not permit them to use your data for their own advertising.

Cal.com runs our booking page. Clicking a booking link takes you off this site, and anything you enter there is covered by Cal.com's privacy terms rather than this policy.

Umami counts page views and a small number of actions, such as clicking a booking link. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and builds no profile of you. Because it cannot identify you, it runs without consent. It is the tool we actually use day to day.

Where your data goes

We are a Nigerian company working with clients internationally. Netlify's servers sit outside Nigeria, so your submission is processed abroad. By sending the form you accept that transfer. We keep the data itself to the minimum needed to reply to you.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted once they are clearly cold. Enquiries that become client or student relationships are kept for as long as that relationship runs, and afterwards only as long as tax and contract record-keeping requires.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email info@jiglobal.co and we will act within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs you nothing.

If you are in Nigeria you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. If you are in the UK or the EU you can complain to your national supervisory authority.

Which law applies

The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 governs us, because that is where the company is registered. We apply the stricter GDPR standard to every visitor regardless of where you are, because running two standards would be harder than running one good one.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
